Central African Republic

MSF medical teams assist refugees and displaced Central Africans on the border between Central African Republic and Chad. In a region plagued by extreme poverty and minimal presence of governmental or international assistance, ongoing violence has forced thousands of villagers to flee their villages. MSF provides health care, clean water, nutrition, drugs and supplies to hundreds of thousands of people living in refugee and IDP camps throughout the world. (credit Ton Koene)
