War Child Canada, an internationally recognized, award-winning charity, provides opportunities and long-term solutions to war-affected children, focusing on education, strengthening children's rights, reducing poverty and fostering self-reliance. We work in partnership with local people and organizations to build sustainable programming that empowers children and their communities. We work to support children and their families in some of the most devastated regions of the world, including Darfur, Afghanistan, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sri Lanka and Georgia. We generate awareness, support and advocacy for children's rights and have domestic outreach programs in schools and among youth across North America.
